(Video): “I have one question” – Former Chelsea defender as puzzled as everyone else by Pochettino team decision

Mario Melchiot is a very positive guy, but even he’s being dragged down by Chelsea’s bad vibes over the last 12 months.

Like many of us, he was left puzzled by some of manager Mauricio Pochettino’s decisions. He questioned why there were effectively only two true attackers (Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling) on the pitch in a home game against Nottingham Forest.

Pochettino would defend himself by saying Ben Chilwell played as a winger, but one could equally say in that case that Chilwell should be playing as an attacking left back, taking a defender out and adding a true winger or another striker to the mix.
