Darren Bent was on TalkSport last night looking at what was going wrong with Chelsea. Well, where do you start?
He read through the club’s injury list and when he reached Christopher Nkunku he stopped. “That’s the problem there,” he affirmed. Clearly he’s in agreement with most fans that the loss of Nkunku was the most significant issue of the season. Although we don’t want people to be distracted from the other issues in the team.
What we could really do with is a player like Bent himself in the team. Not flashy, just deadly in front of goal and consistent across the whole season.
