Chelsea are still interested in signing Victor Osimhen, possibly as soon as January, according to Ben Jacobs via Caughtoffside.
The Blues have been monitoring his situation after an online incident occurred where Napoli’s official TikTok account was seen mocking the striker via a video.
According to Jacobs, the striker is still not happy with his football in Napoli and we could see him move away.
The main issue is the price tag, with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentis known to be one of the toughest negotiators in football.
Prices of around 150 million pounds have been floated around in the past, but now Napoli could be under more pressure to sell with the striker’s contract running out in under 2 years.
Osimhen was pictured many years ago in a Chelsea kit, and we could see him move to Stamford Bridge to try to emulate Didier Drogb, though Chelsea are almost certain to have to break their transfer record once again.
