Chelsea are interested in signing Aaron Ramsdale according to Football Journalist Ben Jacobs.
Ramsdale has lost his place as Arsenal number 1, with David Raya taking over.
As for Chelsea, a move for Ramsdale would not make sense, given the fact that they have just signed Robert Sanchez on a seven year contract, as well as acquiring Petrovic and Slonina from the MLS.
Ramsdale would provide Chelsea with solid Premier League experience but there are questions over whether he would be an upgrade on the current options.
Furthermore, his price could be a cause for concern, how much would Arsenal charge for him?
If Chelsea were to sign Ramsdale, serious questions would have to be asked around the squad planning by the sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.
Whilst this report may seem unrealistic, Ben does have a good track record in transfer reporting so we at least have to give it some attention.
