Chelsea could be set to face Wolves on Christmas Eve

The Premier League are set to announce their festive programme this week, with the possibility that Chelsea face Wolves on Christmas Eve becoming even larger.

Their has not been a Christmas Eve fixture in over 20 years but that could be about to change.

Chelsea already have a daunting fixture list in December, facing the likes of Manchester United and Brighton.

Between the 20th and 30th December, Chelsea could end up playing 3 matches, those would be Wolves, Crystal Palace and Luton.

It would be intriguing to see how many tickets both clubs manage to sell should this fixture go ahead.

Wolves are not the easiest team to face away from home, with Gary O’Neil showing promise since taking over.

They have already beaten Manchester City at home this season and have threatening players such as Pedro Neto and Hwang Hee Chan.

Would you buy a ticket or go if you had the opportunity on Christmas Eve?
