Chelsea have added a brand new name to their transfer shortlist for one of the upcoming transfer windows.
The club have spent a lot of money on rebuilding the squad in the last three transfer windows, but they are not done there. They are seeking other opportunities and planning ahead for transfer markets in January, and again next summer.
One position they are looking at and doing due diligence on is the left back area.
According to our own Chelsea-News writer Simon Phillips this week, Chelsea are interested in 19-year-old Valentin Barco from Boca Juniors and he has been added to the Chelsea shortlist for a potential move.
Barco is an Argentinian youth international and he is also being tracked by a number of other top clubs including Manchester City right now.
Chelsea have been looking to South America for quite of few of their recent purchases, and it looks like they could look there again soon!
