“He just looks so graceful out there on the ball” – pundit showers praise on Chelsea new boy

Gary Neville has showered praise on Chelsea new boy Cole Palmer. Signed from Manchester City for around £40m, the winger / midfielder has made an instant impact at Stamford Bridge.

It came as a surprise to some that Palmer was sold considering he was one of City’s most promising talents but they did sign Jeremy Doku in the summer which would have hurt Palmer’s development and it’s understood that the player had a big say in switching.

His performance against Arsenal was sublime, he opened the scoring with a penalty but led the line very well with Nicolas Jackson only fit enough to make the bench due to a hand injury.

His touches, movement and ball carrying and impressive for a such a young player and one who hasn’t played many minutes in the league yet.

Gary Neville clearly agrees, as on air he said :

“I have to say, Cole Palmer has been wonderful. He’s dropping deeper now and dictating the game. In moments like these, at Chelsea you want composure and Cole Palmer’s upbringing at City will give him that – he just looks so graceful out there on the ball.”
