Noni Madueke should be given a more consistent chance in the correct position – opinion

You could consider Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer undroppable at the moment and can be completely correct.

Everyone however needs to rest once in a while and rotation is important and I believe that Noni Madueke should be starting or at least get a chance in the next games.

Blackburn in the cup could be a good opportunity for Madueke to stake a claim to play more, but also the game against Brentford will give him an opportunity to impress most likely off the bench.

I have seen some unfair criticism online lately around Madueke with some going as far to say he should even be sold, but that in my opinion is ridiculous. If you watched the latest England under 21 games during the last international break, you would’ve seen his ability on the ball and his improved end product.

Obviously that level is not as high as the Premier League, but you can see Madueke’s raw materials and how they would translate similar to how Mudryk’s has recently if he gets more consistent chance by Pochettino.

Those online that are saying he did nothing against Arsenal and that he shouldn’t receive more chances are being particularly harsh in my opinion considering the fact that he played on the left hand side and had minimal time to make an impact in that game.

Do you hope to see Madueke more?

  1. It was a big mistake by the Coach.
Instead of moving Sterling on the left to replace Mudryk and place Madueke in his proper right wing position, he put him on the left side. Strange.‼️

Same with Maatsen, he did not yet play once at his proper left back position, Strange. One can change 5 players: Poch still does not know this⁉️⁉️

  2. Madueke has potential but not sure he is good enough for Chelsea. When Kendry arrives and Angelo most likely comes back from his loan I don’t see how Madueke gets in the squad as Kendry, Angelo and Palma all have more technical ability that him
