“The game changed” – pundit highlights how Mauricio Pochettino made a key tactical mistake against Arsenal

As part of the Monday night football coverage between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham. Jamie Carragher has been analysing the game on Saturday between Chelsea and Arsenal and he has given a lot of praise for for Chelsea’s performance.

Carragher in this video you will see down below highlights how Chelsea nullified Arsenal’s midfield, forcing them to play wide, and even once they played out wide, Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto dealt with the threats of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka for the majority of the match.

Jamie Carragher gave big praise to Mykhailo Mudryk and his performance, and highlighted how when Mauricio Pochettino took him off, the game changed and swung in Arsenal’s favour.

And in my opinion, Chelsea should be very proud of their performance on the weekend. The midfield three of Conor Gallagher, Enzo, Fernández and Moises Caicedo worked together very well as a unit and tactically dealt with one of the best midfields in the league.

Chelsea now face Brentford on Saturday before entertaining the likes of Blackburn and visiting Tottenham.
