Tifo Football have this morning had a long look at Chelsea’s 2-2 draw on Saturday night and the fascinating tactical battle that took place between Mauricio Pochettino and Mikel Arteta.
We enjoyed Jamie Carragher’s take on the game on Monday Night Football last night, and this went into even more satisfying detail.
They discussed how Chelsea’s zonal marking system had prevented Arsenal’s “rotations” from pulling the team’s shape apart, and done a brilliant job of it through 90 minutes.
What a shame that Pochettino’s best laid plans were spoiled by some silly mistakes from his players.
