Football is always boom or bust – when Chelsea were losing games people said we were hopeless, now we’ve won 3 in a row, pundits are back on board.
But Shay Given on RTE wasn’t getting carried away after our 4-1 win over Burnley. He admitted that “I don’t think they’ll get top,” but added that Mauricio Pochettino was going to improve us massively in defence, and then hopefully continue that improvement to forward areas.
“It’s baby steps” he explained. We’ve seen the first of them already, and we hope to see a really complete side, at least by the end of the season.
