(Video): “Nasty” – What Chelsea needed to beat Brentford according to someone who knows

Mauricio Pochettino has said his Chelsea team weren’t “nasty” enough in front of goal to beat Brentford today.

The Blues had their fair share of chances in the first half, and looked like they were bound to score eventually. But as we’ve seen before, once their initial wave of pressure wore off, they struggled to create further chances.

Pochettino claimed it was a lack of “nasty,” and that his players weren’t “clinical” in front of goal.

We’ve heard it all a thousands times before. This was the 14th Chelsea game in 2023 where we’ve not found the net.

  1. Chelsea wouldn’t have scored if they played for a week, their build up play is to slow and there is no movement up front when the midfield are trying to find a opening.Chelsea must find a number 9 quick or they will lose more than they win.

  2. The blame still lays at the feet of the brainless YANKS. Instead of spending billions on the stadium, use some of it to get a good, successful, recognised keeper, and goal scorer. If these brainless no-hopers had kept the best of our proven midfielders instead of spending a fortune on waste of spaces we would have someone who could actually score regularly. and also have a keeper who does not cost us points. Oh to turn the clock back to Drogba, Kalou, Chech, Cortoise. A club in ruins by idiots with heads full of dollars, instead of brains !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
