Mauricio Pochettino is not getting over the top in his presser after Chelsea’s win over Burnley, but he is certainly able to be a bit more positive.
He pointed out that as players return from injury, he will have selection dilemmas now.
“That is something I love to do,” he grinned. He must finally be feeling like all his hard work is paying off. We’ve already seen the benefits of competition in terms of Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson, plus Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk. Long may it continue.
