Simon Phillips was asked on his podcast about Trevoh Chalobah’s future, and he was as certain as us – perhaps even more certain – that the defender will be on his way in January.
“There is no way he and Chelsea can continue,” as he put it, and that’s pretty fair, as we see it. He’s not been given a sniff of action, and from what we can assume he’s been told the same behind the scenes. He’s not been able to get on the pitch through a dreadful injury crisis, and that surely means he goes as soon as an offer comes in – and that likely means January.

Trevor is a brilliant player. I think the coach is being very unfair to him. It’s unbelievable to play Cucurella in position 2 when Trevor is there. Very unfair. Let him go to Bayern and one day, just one day, Chelsea will live to regret the neglected talent…just like we did with Salah and KDB. We were not patient…and sometimes we have this ‘We don’t care’ attitude that I don’t understand….
Seriously you guys need to stop trying to fabricate news headlines, Chalobah has been injured all season that is why he hasn’t seen any game time cause he’s not able to play
