Chelsea have made contact with the agent of a world class player ahead of a potential transfer move.
The Blues are looking for reinforcements still despite spending a large amount on signing new players across the last three transfer windows.
They are looking to sign a new striker in 2024, and sources have exclusively told our writer Simon Phillips on his Substack today, that Chelsea have now made contact with the agents of Victor Osimhen of Napoli to weigh up a move.
And furthermore, sources claim that Chelsea have received a positive reaction from the striker and he would be open to a move to the club.
Chelsea will now look to make a decision on going for a new striker and which transfer window they will be looking to do that in, with Brentford’s Ivan Toney also still a top target at the club.
Osimhen is not expected to be available in the January window, so Chelsea might have to wait if that is who they decide to go for.
