“On my way back up now” – Key Chelsea player has now turned a corner

One key Chelsea player says that they have turned a corner and on the way back up now.

This will be music to the ears of Chelsea fans, because this isn’t any old player, we are talking about Sam Kerr.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea will move again to sign player they were very close to signing in the summer!

Kerr has been electric for Chelsea Women’s over recent years, and she has become a key player and the main source of important goals up top for Emma Hayes’ side.

But she has been suffering a few recent injury problems, which is unfortunately typical for Chelsea in general of late.

Kerr says she is only just starting to get back to her best for Chelsea Women following her recent injury problems.

Despite all of that though, she has still managed three goals in her six appearances for the Blues so far, including a fine headed equaliser in last week’s Women’s Champions League equaliser away at Real Madrid. However, Kerr believes she will soon be back to meeting the high standards she expects of herself.

“I’m feeling better, but it’s been a process,” she admitted to the Chelsea website.

“I’ve never really, since I’ve been at Chelsea, dealt with a niggle or injury. I’ve usually been at a high fitness level and played game after game and training session after session.

“I’m only on my way back up now, I’m still not at my peak, but I feel like I’ve turned the corner now and I’m on the way up.”
