One of the complaints from fans recently is that of Mauricio Pochettino’s quotes, many did not like that he seemed to big up Spurs more than Chelsea before the last match, however, this quote today ahead of the Manchester City game has given fans more optimism that Pochettino is the right man for Chelsea.
Pochettino’s aim must be to create a connection with the fans and quotes like the one below will gain more respect and support.
It is important that we understand that we are not the favorites going into the match on Sunday but if we can show a certain mentality and not already be a wounded victim going into the game, there is no reason as to why we cannot get a result.
As good as Manchester City are, we managed to only concede one goal in the home fixture last season under Graham Potter.
