Nicolas Jackson is proving to be every part the conundrum we expected.
He certainly has the tools to be fantastic, but is extremely raw. He lacks a lot of important qualities, and it’s not clear when or if he will develop them.
On Sky’s coverage of the game tonight they asked Daniel Sturridge what he made of the Senegal striker and whether he’s the man for Chelsea “long term”, leading into a wider discussion about other Premier League teams and their strikers – it turns out, most of them are looking for upgrades.
