We missed this in all the madness of Chelsea’s draw against Man City last weekend. After the game, Cole Palmer was asked about the crowd at Stamford Bridge, which he described as “wonderful tonight.”
We’d have to agree. On certain days our home ground can still be menacing, and that game saw them truly in gear for one of the first times this season.

With his arrogant air and hint of swagger around the pitch (and most importantly his blinding ability) Cole is set to be a fan favourite, and this feels like the start of a wonderful relationship of mutual benefit.
