A former Chelsea man is reportedly ‘keen’ on making a move to the Championship as a new position opens up.
Stoke City are having a poor season in the Championship currently sitting in 19th place in the league.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea eyeing two new wingers for the January window!
As a result they have sacked their manager and are now on the hunt for a new one. They have John Eustace and Toney Mowbray as their leading candidates for that role. I’ve also seen Nuno Santo and even former Chelsea manager Graham Potter linked this week.
According to SPTC today, former Blues manager and player Frank Lampard would be keen on taking the role should he be offered.
The report explains that Stoke may or may not have approached Lampard about the role, but if they have/do, then he would most certainly want to speak to them about the position.
Lampard was linked with Charlotte FC recently, but the report throws shade over those stories and says he and his family are happy in England.
