“Not working on” – Fabrizio Romano immediately shuts down new Chelsea transfer rumour

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has immediately shut down a fresh new Chelsea transfer rumour that only came out yesterday.

As we are getting towards silly season again opening at the end of this month, rumours are going to be coming in thick and fast and as we know, Chelsea will most certainly be looking to do some business in the January transfer window.

EXCLUSIVE! Signing on fee putting Chelsea off key target, Osimhen the ‘dream’, and scouting intensely stepped up for another striker!

The winter window being shorter than the summer always makes it less busy, but you can be sure that Chelsea will once again be involved in some dramas along the way in the next five weeks!

Yesterday saw a new and interesting rumour pop up from Nizaar Kinsella of The Evening Standard.

He claimed that Strasbourg want to sign Chelsea target Valentin Barco in January. The 19-year-old could leave Boca Juniors this winter and is being targeted by the French club, offering him a future pathway into Mauricio Pochettino’s first team at Stamford Bridge.

This is obviously because Strasbourg are now owned by Chelsea’s owners, BlueCo.

However, Romano has shut that down in his latest YouTube Video.

He says: “Chelsea and Strasbourg are not working on Valentín Barco together; he wouldn’t be interested in the French side. Chelsea is not working on the deal, but they appreciate him.”
