Chelsea have had two modes this season. One where they create a lot and miss a lot, and one where they don’t create much at all.
Yesterday we saw a bit of both. There was one of the most flagrant missed chances of the season, and then something of a second half capitulation.
Speaking in his press conference, Mauricio Pochettino seemed to despair. He pointed out that “always we are talking about how we provide the chances.”
He couldn’t have done much more in the first half today, that was on the players. But in the second we looked passive and he looked out of ideas.
