Chelsea are plumbing new depths of wastefulness.
Both Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson have fluffed shots in the box through simple poor technique, and now Raheem Sterling has been guilty of criminal selfishness.
The Blues nicked the ball and raced in on Jose Sa’s goal. Sterling had two options to his right, and as the keeper came out to challenge him, he had only to roll it to one side to give them an open goal. Instead he shot, Sa saved, and Chelsea fans around the world lost their minds.
