Chelsea have equalised! Mykhailo Mudryk surged in at the back post to take advantage of hesitancy from Kieran Trippier to slip the ball home.
Really it’s rather undeserved. We’ve barely been able to create a single decent chance despite dominating the ball in this second half.
Now it’s straight on to penalties – can we nick a win here against the Mapgies? We will need some bottle and some big saves from Djorde Petrovic.

Our goal was certainly more “deserved†than Newcastle’s, lol!
It’s easy enough to criticize our inability to create top quality chances, but the boys deserve credit for showing some grit and tenacity. The pressure created by all that possession finally caused Newcastle to crack and, in the end, we deserved the win.
