Cole Palmer scored a brilliant strike to open the scoring today, and he’s just added a third which should finish the game.
Nicolas Jackson played him in and Palmer took it past the goalkeeper and through a cluster of defenders before rolling it in.
WHAT a player.
In the end Chelsea have made heavy weather of it, conceding twice to make the end far scarier than it should have been. Without Ice Cole on the pitch we wouldn’t have won this game – and that’s shocking.

Yeah, for all his attacking skill, Palmer’s defending was a total shambles. His lack of awareness/dedication defensively directly contributed to two of the goals. He’s got to understand that preventing a goal (e.g., by putting a body on his man on a corner kick) is just as good as scoring one!
