Chelsea fans have waited so long to see Christopher Nkunku in action, and naturally there were worries that he was being rushed back to a start before he’s quite ready, simply due to injuries.
But he started, played well, and was taken off in the second half without issue. Speaking to Chelsea TV in the tunnel later on, he confirmed: “I have no issues after the game.”
Unfortunately the same can’t be said of Romeo Lavia, who it seems picked up a new injury in his first Chelsea appearance of the season.
