Mauricio Pochettino was given the chance to slam Conor Gallagher for his two yellow cards today, but instead he criticised the second of the two cautions.
“For me it wasn’t a second yellow… maybe I am wrong.”
“It’s not inexperience… he wants to get the ball back quick. These things happen.”
We’re not so sure. It was pretty hard to argue that that’s not a red card to be honest. It was soft, but silly from Conor. He didn’t get much ball, and did get some man, and it was breaking up a nice counter attack.
