With Conor Gallagher out and Noni Madueke not fit to play either, it looks almost certain that Mykhailo Mudryk will keep his starting place for tomorrow’s game, no matter what formation and selection Mauricio Pochettino goes for.
There were three really impressive moments we liked from him in the Brighton game, and all of them show up in the highlights.
Winning the penalty was of course vital, but there were two nice moments before that too. The first saw him receive a pass in a tight area and come inside with the ball with a nice turn.
The second saw him destroy Joel Veltman by going the other way, beating him on the outside. It just shows what damage he can do if he’s confident and playing in the right situation.
