Speaking to Chelsea TV after yesterday’s game, Cole Palmer revealed that he thought that Luton had started specifically marking him in the second half.
“They put a man on me” he said, but of course it was too late. By then he had already torn them apart, scoring twice and assisting once.
If he keeps playing like this, he’d better get used to it. He’s one of the best and most productive young players in all of Europe right now, and he will be getting man marked every week at this rate.
