(Video): “We deserved more” – Pochettino back on the same excuses as fans switch off

“We deserved more” said Mauricio Pochettino after yesterday’s game, but we doubt many Chelsea fans were around to see it. They have heard his interviews every week, and the reasons are always the same:

We are a young team, we’re an inexperienced team, we created chances and missed them, we need time to adapt, we’ve had injuries. All true. But despite that we’ve seen little improvement, and that’s why we get the same lines from the coach every week.

The question is, how long are the owners willing to put up with it?

  1. Merry xmass to u all out there chelsea Fans, yes i will like to contiribute to our defeat against wolves,,, i think for me the problem was from the Coach pocchetino,,,his just been sentimental here,,, why will you keep nkuku in the bench that is back from injury to play Lazy Jackson and broja,,,leaving the likes of Mudryk nkuku, matseen, and madueke in the bench, mind you Jackson seven goals so far this seasons where cheap goals.

  2. “Lazy Jackson?” What a load of nonsense. Take a look at FBref. The only thing “lazy” is the undeserved criticism so many so-called fans are heaping on Jackson.. While his goals scored are indeed below his xG—confirming what we already know, that he’s missed some good chances—he’s still among the most productive #9s in Europe! Given that he’s so young, only a hopeless cynic would assume he won’t grow more composed in front of goal. But the fact that he so frequently creates chances (arriving in the right place at the right time) is an indicator that he is the absolute opposite of “lazy,” lol! Indeed, he’s industrious and clever and is already the best striker we’ve had since Costa or Drogba.

Fans who are understandably frustrated at results need to stop and realize that Jackson is not a part of the problem, but, rather, part of the solution!

    1. Lazy?Truely; he’s not. But he’s not a Striker! Real strikers are all about goals. We don’t need him running about tirelessly for nothing. A striker is one that turns a half chance into a real chance to score. Give us a break on this campaign rant.
He scored 3 goals in a 9 against 11 match-Don’t make that a huge statement. You should whisper on this. He’s good but Chelsea need a scorer.
