As we know, Pochettino’s side have suffered with countless injuries this season in what really did become an unprecedented problem for him and the club.
And then to add to that, Chelsea’s new striker signing from the summer, Nicolas Jackson, has been away at AFCON all this month.
But fortunately for Pochettino and Chelsea, Jackson is now returning from AFCON due to Senegal being knocked out, and the Argentine seems to think that he might even be involved tomorrow!
They are hoping for Jackson to be back in time to make the squad tomorrow, which will be a massive boost for all involved at the club.
In words cited by SPTC today, Pochettino said: “Always we are waiting for the last moment. At the moment, it’s good news. Maybe why not Nico Jackson can be involved tomorrow if he arrives.”
