“Discussing with Pochettino” – Fabrizio Romano provides Chelsea transfer update

We are now ten days into the January transfer window and things have remained relatively calm at Chelsea, for now at least.

They have been sorting some outgoings in terms of loan moves, and also some recalls. But they have yet to make any moves, at least in the public eye, to sign any new players yet this month.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea discussing historical striker target for this month!

Nobody expects/expected them to be super busy like in the previous three transfer windows, but there has been many links to them wanting to sign a new striker this month, as well as perhaps another defender or two.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an updates on Chelsea’s activities today, but really, it seems like they are biding their time this month.

As reported on SPTC, Romano says: “Chelsea are taking their time on the market as they believe there hasn’t been a big opportunity on the market yet – they are discussing with Pochettino on potential targets.”

It’s good to see that we are not going to be panic buying of course, but I still genuinely believe that we need to sign a proven striker this month if we can get one. We still absolutely lack one and it’s so clear.

  1. I’m getting pretty tired of this “we don’t have a striker” nonsense. So-called fans throw around this cheap critique with apparently zero awareness of just how good Nicolas Jackson actually is. Obviously, we can’t ignore some of his misses, BUT even after those misses HE’S STILL ONE OF THE BEST #9s IN THE EPL!!!

If supporters want to whine and moaning about something then direct it somewhere else, but this constant blathering about our striker is tired groupthink at this point and speaks to a real lack of education/football intelligence among the fanbase.

    1. Dude are you high! Jackson wouldn’t get into a Scottish Premier side- he’s feckin useless- first touch non existent- clearly hasn’t a clue what offside is- most offsides of any player in all 5 top leagues- apparently Pochettino is impressed that he didn’t Miss his Afcon flight!
