“Movement in the next days” – Fabrizio Romano provides key Chelsea transfer updates

Chelsea have had a very quiet transfer window so far, but transfer expert says here could be movement in the next days that might set off a domino effect for business at the club.

It looks like it could be a busy week for Chelsea striker Armando Broja, according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano as he spoke exclusively to CaughtOffside for this week’s episode of the Debrief podcast.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea’s striker priorities – Insider updates on Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Ivan Toney, Benjamin Sesko, Evan Ferguson, Dusan Vlahovic, and more!

If Broja is sold or loaned out by Chelsea, then it may well lead to Chelsea signing a new striker themselves, although it is currently unclear if they would definitely be looking to do that or not.

But Romano says there is interest coming in now for Broja and there could be movement on that in the next days.

The transfer reporter states that there is historical interest from West Ham, and Wolves could be another possibility.

“I think this is a possibility – it’s going to be a busy week for Armando Broja. He’s almost never playing and Mauricio Pochettino recently said he needs to be regularly playing. It makes no sense to continue like this,” Romano said.

“There is historical interest from West Ham, and Wolves could be another possibility. There could be movement in the next days.”

It’s certainly one of the biggest transfer situations to keep an eye on at Chelsea right now.
