Malo Gusto was pretty lucky to get away with a yellow card for his tackle on Willian in the first half today. Fulham manager Marco Silva was convinced it was a red.
Mauricio Pochettino was diplomatic, as you’d expect. He compared it to the straight red that Gusto HAD got against Aston Villa, which was just as harsh as this was lenient.
It’s no comfort for Fulham of course. We’d all rather have the decisions the right way round, but at least this was some justice for Chelsea fans, if not their counterparts in white.
