Chelsea have been denied a pretty clear penalty in the opening stages at Anfield.
Conor Gallagher surged into the box and was quit clearly brought down by Virgil Van Dijk, who swung a right leg into Gallagher’s body.
The ref didn’t give it, but we were sure VAR would. Then VAR didn’t give it either.
Is this all part of the Jurgen Klopp farewell tour then?

The referee has made a mess of this game. Has he called anything that hasn’t favored Liverpool? And the fact that we’ve been handed YCs for the slightest dissent just adds insult to injury.
