Nizaar Kinsella last night asked Mauricio Pochettino about what he had made of his team’s performance last night against a strong Aston Villa side, and Pochettino answered very broadly. He said he had seen plenty of good performances in these first few months of his spell, just without the consistency to chain them together.
But he believes he’s seen that change in recent weeks:
“Now it looks like we are being more consistent in our performance,” the manager said, pointing out that the away defeat to Middlesbrough was the only blip in our recent form.
