We’ve seen some pretty terse and tense press conferences from Mauricio Pochettino this season, but after some decent results today’s was more light hearted, and it got off on a funny note when he referred to the upcoming two legged game against Middlesbrough as a “180 million” rather than “180 minutes.”
He instantly realised and cracked up, along with plenty of the journalists present. Clearly that transfer meeting with the sporting directors yesterday went well! He still had money on the mind.
