Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t spoken to the press for 10 days, so they were eager for transfer updates in his presser today.
The coach let them down, saying it was “so quiet” and there was “no news” either about players coming or going. He was pleased about that, and seems more keen on getting the players he has fit rather than getting new ones (or even worse, selling those he has.)
We would be stunned if there is not a single transaction either way, but certainly those expecting anything like last January will already be realising that this is an entirely different kettle of fish.
