(Video): “I have no doubt” – Former striker predicts Pochettino sack if nothing changes

Monday morning is where Sky Sports get into detail breaking down the weekend’s action, and Chelsea’s smashing by Wolves yesterday provides plenty of headlines.

Jay Bothroyd gave his honest thoughts on the situation, which were that if nothing changes between now and the end of the season he has “no doubt” that Mauricio Pochettino will be sacked. The former striker says he sees no improvement in Chelsea, and thinks the owners will not have any patience if this farce continues much longer.

You can see him make his point in the clip embedded here:

  1. I believe its time to move Poch on…he does not have the qualities to manage a top side (not that Chelsea is anything but at the moment), but, his track record prior to this is not that good, he did nothing at Spurs and the length of time he was out of a job tells me he was not that impressive with many clubs. I think he should do the right thing and stand down…this club needs a quality way above his standard.

  2. He has to be sacked. After all, PSG didn’t retain him after he had won the one horse race of the French league with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe in attack. Poch is tactically limited, with no idea how to turn games around.

  3. Why in the heck do you publish continued bull from “in the know” people? To be honest your posts are becoming meaningless with that continued babble from common folk who probably have an ax to grind.
