Chelsea’s staff and players have just had to do the lonely trudge up to collect their winners medals, and some fans noticed an odd moment involving owners Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino appeared to ignore the latter as he went right for the hand of the former for a consolatory shake. Some fans are of course making a big deal about this, but it clearly wasn’t deliberate. Like everyone else, Pochettino just wants to get off that stage.
It’s not quite clear what happened – Boehly is half turned away with his hands in his coat and Pochettino probably just didn’t see him as Eghbali reached out to shake the coach’s hand.
