Conor Gallagher was the match winner for Chelsea tonight, another great contribution in a season where he’s been a shining light at times.
Mauricio Pochettino was asked to speak about his performance a little after the game today, and he said what he always says – he’s been bigging up the midfielder for months.
“He’s an important player and there is no doubt about that. Since the start of the season, his contributions are so important.”
We’re glad Gallagher didn’t start tonight, but even so he will now likely be thrown in to a tough game against Brentford.
