When asked about the anger from Chelsea fans at Stamford Bridge today, Mauricio Pochettino said he wanted to apologise. But he followed up by saying there was a difference between the “perception” and “reality” of Chelsea’s situation.
What he’s basically saying is that the fans’ (and media’s) “perception” of where Chelsea should be is very different to where the “reality” of the situation is
That is reasonable if he’s saying the club have a bunch of dud players, fine. But the club has just spent utterly grotesque sums of money on assembling the most expensive team in football history. So you can understand why we have the “perception” that this team should be able to beat Wolves at home.

The team has had a number of challenges but both the players and the coach should pull up the socks. I hate Poch’s habit of sitting & chilling when the players are not showing any ambition to win!!! He sits like the team owner! No pressure on his face as if he enjoys what the team is playing!!
Players should also style up. They get lots of money but very average display on the pitch! They need to know this is a job. It’s not just for entertainment.
