“Are the players good enough?” was the stark question put to Mauricio Pochettino after today’s defeat. That’s what we all want to hear him say – blame the useless bunch on the pitch and create a storyline.
But as you’d expect, the ever diplomatic Pochettino didn’t fall for it.
“The players need to take responsibility,” he said, before adding “and so do I.”
We don’t want to see people taking responsibility, we want to see our team win some games. His answer was a bit of a dodge of the question – but then again you can’t expect someone hired by a pair of sporting directors to both question their decisions and the players he’s working with.

Both take responsibility but if your instruction or tactics not working you need more plan to adjust . Caceido Enzo as a pivot isn’t working . Chelsea needs a strong defensive midfielder to combat and protect the back defenders . Your winger should help to track back . Mostly the players are on position to attack that’s why Chelsea FC got beat on counter attack plus the defender are not strong on one on one battle . Their positioning are not balance . The pivot are away from helping out the back . Poch tactics never changes . He is more on attack mode neglecting their defence . They are not close enough to stop the counter attack . And they are sloppy when they got the ball . This team needs a manager that strong to manage this group of young players . Poch isn’t the right one for this group . His selection making isn’t good . He should have choose Santos than Gallagher in midfield . Caceido not performing well . Enzo needs a world class player to play with . Rebuild this group . If I am the manager I will put Desasi as a defensive midfielder to protect the back . Silva struggle if play back four . Should play back 3 . Besides Striker they need defensive midfielder strong and skillful . Unfortunately Lavia is prone to injury . Chalobah can slot in as DCM if his available or play as RB . Mudryk should start and sterling isn’t a winger . Time to change before to late .
