Bayern Munich’s ongoing struggles to re-establish themselves among Europe’s elite are creating opportunities for other teams.
The Sun are making the incredible claim that Jamal Musiala – a Chelsea academy product and one of the most highly rated young players in the world, is considering leaving. He’s not agreed a new contract, and his current deal expires in 2026.
If he’s still in the same position in a year’s time, things will get very interesting indeed. He’s rated at an incredible €110m by Transfermarkt, showing just how much demand there would be if the signals go out that he wants to leave.
We’ve considered this door long closed – but if things keep moving in this direction, there might just be the chance of a return.
Chelsea will have to up their game in the meantime of course. There’s no way a world class (or at least potentially world class) player like Musiala will go anywhere without Champions League football.
I’m sort of amazed that Chelsea News didn’t try to hang responsibility for letting go of a prize like Musiala on “American owners,” lol! They seem to want to blame them for everything else.
