Dujuan Richards scored his first goal for Chelsea’s u21 side against Newcastle yesterday.
The Jamaica international signed for the Blues in the summer from Phoenix Academy and trained with the first team squad in pre season.
He finally completed his move to Stamford Bridge in January having turned 18 last November.
The 18 year old has made four appearances in the Premier League 2 and got his first goal in yesterday’s 7-1 thrashing of Newcastle.
Richards is one of many youngsters that have been signed under the new ownership and it remains to be seen what the club’s plans are for his development.
