Chelsea have been using this latest international break to scout a new striker, according to an exclusive report this week.
The club are pondering options for new strikers in the summer, and it is clear that they are looking at many different names and scouting different players lately.
The international break was a perfect opportunity for scouts to watch a host of players, and that’s exactly what the Chelsea scouts have been doing the last couple of weeks before the weekend.
That is according to our writer Simon Phillips, who put out an exclusive article on it all this week via his own Substack site.
Phillips says that Chelsea had scouts watching Brighton striker Evan Ferguson whilst he was on international duty with the Republic of Ireland.
However, Phillips also adds that Chelsea’s interest in Ferguson has actually faded a bit and he is not near the top of their priorities for potential new strikers this summer, for now at least.
Chelsea fc needs a complete striker like Napoli’s VO9,Sporting Lisbon’s Victor G or Brentford’s E Toney.
