Journalist claims news was ‘fake’ and Chelsea actually paid to fly new manager in

One Journalist has claimed that news that came in last week was actually fake and in a crazy twist, also claims it was Chelsea who paid to fly a potential new manager in to London.

This story looks to be developing, and it could all get very interesting for Chelsea and Blues fans.

Sources: Chelsea now discussing Man City & PSG attackers as summer targets

Last week, it was claimed that West Ham had flown Sporting manager Ruben Amorim into London for talks about potentially becoming their next manager in the summer. But was all this a smokescreen for Amorim to speak with Chelsea’s people instead?

That is the claims of journalist Pedro Sepulveda today, and these are some pretty big claims to make!

He claims that the flight was paid for by Chelsea and that Amorim was in London to hold talks with board members of the Stamford Bridge club and not West Ham, calling that news fake. He also says that current manager Mauricio Pochettino will probably leave Chelsea at the end of the season, so these talks would have been about Amorim replacing him.

Of course, the Portuguese manager has been heavily linked with Chelsea for some time now, and he is clearly someone that the club admire as a potential new manager down the line. But will it be this summer? And are these new claims true and do they hold weight?

We will have to wait and see on the latter and see if anything else comes out on it. But to me it does sound like it might be legit. Chelsea would not want Pochettino to get word of them actively speaking with other managers to replace him right now, that would be a real kick in the teeth. If this has happened, then I am not sure if it will come out much more anyway because Chelsea would want to try and keep it under wraps.
