Pochettino has perfect chance to select players naturally and use 20-year-old in key role

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has a perfect chance to change to a more attacking setup on Monday night when they face relegation strugglers Everton.

A lot has been said about Pochettino’s Chelsea right now and how open they play. This obviously causes issues at the back. But I think they need to play more on the front foot against sides like Everton, who we know will often sit, be organised, and try and contain Chelsea away from home.

Sources: Chelsea’s new manager plans and Pochettino stance – Contact has been made this week!?

We have a great chance to at least use a natural number 10 in that attacking midfield role on Monday night, because it sounds like Enzo Fernandez is a doubt and could miss the game through injury.

This should mean Conor Gallagher stepping away from playing in the 10 role, which for me is is not good enough playing in, and moving him deeper to play where Enzo usually plays, alongside Moises Caicedo.

And then in the 10 role, I would start a player who is probably the best in that position in our senior side, Carney Chukwuemeka.

Then lets look to control and take the game to Everton and get some early goals.
