(Video): Cole Palmer drops a backheel, nutmeg and stunning first time finish in one move to put Chelsea ahead

What a goal.

Cole Palmer just gets better and better. Every week we think the fun has to end eventually, but instead he just ramps it up.

The Blues almost lost the ball on the edge of their own box, but ended up being able to work it up the pitch through Malo Gusto.

He fed Palmer, who popped it through Jarrad Branthwaite’s legs, played a one two with Noni Madueke (which involved a Palmer backheel, by the way) and just curled his finish in first time beyond Jordan Pickford.

It was so subtle, but so beautiful. He just oozes calm wherever he is and whatever is going on. This guy can’t stop scoring, and we’re loving every minute of it. Stamford Bridge is on its feet failing their wonderful new favourite.
