With less than five minutes gone, Chelsea are already one goal behind against Arsenal.
It was a well worked move, with Declan Rice driving through midfield and forcing Alfie Gilchrist to commit inside from right back.
That left Leandro Trossard free with enough space to shoot, and he launched one left footed as Gilchrist scrambled to get back into his path.
The shot was fired in with force, but it went right at Djordje Petrovic’s near post at foot level. We want to be generous to the youngster, but he should be saving that. It’s been a tricky season for him – we all liked him early on because he didn’t make the same mistakes in possession that Robert Sanchez made – but he is making mistakes when saving shots which are costing us almost as badly.
